The TX2000 Digital Microwave Leakage Monitor is a compact, robust, single range RF power measurement instrument designed to operate in the 2.45 GHz frequency range and designed to replace the TX90 analogue Microwave Leakage Monitor used by many service engineers since its inception in 1992
This Microwave Monitor is designed specifically for the field service engineer engaged in the repair and maintenance of domestic and commercial microwave heating equipment working at a nominal frequency of 2.45 GHz. It may also be used by Portable Appliance Testing companies as pert of their testing programme. Its purpose is the detection of potentially harmful microwave energy leakage from these heating sources.

Calibration
Although some low-cost-instrument manufacturers claim accuracy so good that calibration is not required, all instruments of this type depend for their accuracy on calibration and the quality of manufacture. Without calibration traceable to a National Standard, the user can have no guarantee that the displayed value represents the actual microwave power level present. It has been, and remains, the policy of Celtek, that all instruments are calibrated and provided with a calibration certificate, fully traceable to UK National Standards.
